Videos on NY Times website won't start
I'm running Kubuntu 13.04 (Raring) on a Lenovo Ideapad laptop. When I go to the New York Times website using Firefox and try to view the videos (http://www.nytimes.com/video/), the website stays in the "loading" state (a rotating dashed circle) and will go no further -- I've left it running for an hour. Yet --
(1) Using Firefox under Windows, it works fine.
(2) Using Chrome under Kubuntu, it works fine.
(3) YouTube videos under Kubuntu/Firefox work fine.
Earlier under 12.10 I was having a different but probably related problem with the same webpage: I would get a ve_fms_connect_failed error. I no longer see that.
This problem appeared quite recently so it's probably related to an update. Until about a week ago, the videos at the Times worked fine.
