?Whether it?s a red faux leather purse or a Farrah Fawcett T-shirt that you wish for, I?m scouring the thrift stores, garage sales, and flea markets to find them,? says Mildred Beason, owner of 555Mildredz, who opened the online store to expand the clientele she?d served mainly through word of mouth.

?I group them according to their look because the cut, color, and the type of fabric used all work together or alone to give you an image that comes to mind when you see it. And that?s when you start to come up with all kind of ideas of how you could wear it,? Beason explains.
